Are military members being Freemasons a dying breed?
That being said, I treat all Brothers as such, and deal with them squarely, no matter the situation.
Brothers here is my take on it. I feel that masonry needs to move with the times. It should not matter anymore if you are a 4 letter, 3 letter or PHA. What should matter is that you are a brother of the same fraternity and that would make us stronger and better. We all do charity and community work why not do it as one and be able to help more. Like I have stated I am an active Mason and I am Prince Hall but regardles I am a Brother. We need to stand together and get the old heads to get out of the seats and let the fresh meat run the show. We also need to purge our organization and get rid of the bad apples before they rot the whole batch and that needs to start at the first degree, you can tell if they are gonna make it or have to be carried all the way.
I guess I am done ranting. PM Sully

dying breed, it's just that overseas you will see more (Germany, Korea), they
are more active in those areas because they are out of their element and are
looking for familiar faces, PHAmily. On the other hand, while in the USA it
isn't as easy to get into a lodge, the standard of old lodges versus those you
find overseas are completely different. You can't expect someone to come with
an inquiry as to how to become one, if people aren't putting the right precept
out there. You use to be able to tell a Mason and/or OES by how they carried themselves,
now you never know. I don't fault anyone for it, it's just that the discernment
that was once a part of the process, seems to be no longer present.</font></p><font color="#000000" size="3" face="Times New Roman">

Well said SFC
It would be a misrepresentation to say these issues are limited to secret orders and fraternal houses, when any first-year Sociology student can tell you that they are a recurrent facet of our entire species across every system in the world.
I am surprised to see so many brothers from Ft. Campbell that I have never met. I am a PM of Ft. Campbell 946 and welcome all travelers as usual. FT Campbell 946 is a military lodge, used to be on Ft. Campbell many years ago but now it's in Oak Grove. Most of our members are current soldiers or prior.
