You know, it is interesting! Pundits on both sides have interesting valid and non-valid arguments about the issue flavor of minute. All of here on RP have respond within and so much within reason to any number of articles that slant on way or the other. Some responses are measured, while others are COLDLY calculated to elicit an expected response.
I got a piece of advice the other day that I found interesting. Suffice it say the advice was about the tone and manner with which some respond to various stimuli here on RP about minor and major topics. Even the humor presented can elicit some rather dramatic responses.
So my question is simple:
Do you believe that responses by some RIGHT, CENTER, LEFT on RP can be a bit over the top or come from an emotion place that is not well explained leading to other responses that only fan vs cool the flames?
PS This issue of "effective communications" all about the basics of the sender receiver model.

Meaning, that communications is two-way even in this age of social media. It means that to effectively communicate you have to know and what's more important to truly understand your audience on multiple levels within that same audience (aka culture). You don't need a PhD to do that. You need common sense! While it could be argued that many a PhD has toiled long and hard to visually depict what the average person in the street knows in an applied way it it appreciated and instructive to have such models visually ready!!!
My interest in communications is all about better understanding the members of the RP family. Each of the nearly 2-million users of this platform are unique and have unique stories. Many of you follow my various posts and those who respond, plus you know a good bit about me from how and the depth I go to respond to some. Just to be clear, I have always known, a the famous Paul Harvey, there was a "...rest of the story..." and that it both important and incumbent upon us to be willing hear and understand the "...rest of the story...."
Looking forward to hearing more of your stories!

Not many minds are going to be changed re: POTUS, but policy discussions are often worthwhile.

CPO Nate S.
MAJ Ken Landgren - Interesting response! It is a little like a Chinese finger puzzle don't you think?

Between the Hatch Act and Article 88, no. I generally stay away from all political discussions.

I'm an independent when it comes to voting, I'm not swayed by either party.
