I've seen a lot of these photos lately. It's just members acting out. It's a fake septum piercing, which is why the photo is taken in the car, not in public. That's not to say that it is not unprofessional! It is absolutely unprofessional and immature. Just rest assured she is not walking around like that.

I really don't even know where ti begin with this photo I will say this it makes my blood boil if I was her LPO there would be no counseling or EMI in her future it would be straight to Captain's Mast Or AKA Article 15 as other branches of the service know it. I would push for 45/45 $250.00 for two and reduction in rate.
