Are there any armor Army Reserve units? If so, where are they? Does anyone know the Reserve units available in the DMV?

The reserves is all support. The National Guard has combat units. Just look at the National Guard website for your state and you can see what type of units they have. Your best bet is to Simply talk to a guard recruiter who can explain all of it for you

The only combat arms units that remain in the reserves are over in Guam and Samoa. The 442nd Infantry Regiment. The next combat arms type unit folks on the reserve side are in the Training Support arena not where SMP opportunities would exist.
