SFC (Join to see), shoot me a note on NIPR. A good friend of mine is the Senior MI WO out at OCMI. I'll shoot her a note for a POC for you...

To the WO cohort that has responded to this thread - 350F are suffering decreased promotion rates, not to mention a potential future loss of one WO1 to the Brigade Level MTOE. The last fiscal year results were 68% this year to CW3 at zone, and roughly the same for CW4. This is down roughly 12% from FY14. That being said, do you think it is still safe to go to WOC early enough where you would have to hinge your retirement upon DA selection to CW3 at zone, or should I wait and go to WOC at my 11 year mark so I can guarantee retirement as a CW2. I understand this sounds like I am shooting for mediocrity, but as my career has shown me, even when I excel Murphy's Law still applies and I can still get screwed. What is the earliest year I can go to retire as a CW3? I think I can go a year from now since 7 year as a WO1, plus 2 for 9 years as CW2, plus 4 for 13 as a CW3, and you will hit 18 year sanctuary before removed from service for not making CW4. Thoughts? Always out front!

I ended up reaching out to MSG as well as another warrant who pointed me in the right direction. It all worked out and thanks for the help!
