MAJ Ken Landgren Great paper - thanks for sharing. There are other ways to deal with PTSD as well. Virutal World Solutions d/b/a Sponsor a Vet Life is running a free pilot program for veterans with PTSD. Please feel to reach out to me, Ilene Morris , or Kim Bolen RN CCM ACM for more confidential information. This porgram will not affect your VA benefits and is Confidential. This will include family mebers as well. Here is a link to the discussion on the program:

COL Mikel J. Burroughs - That's a hell of a good idea to incorporate the family so they can be educated as well, to include the veterans who are prone to forget coping skills.

MAJ Ken Landgren Absolutely and the program will be free for both the veteran and their families - going to help a lot of veterans - thanks for your interest and sharing your ideas. Much appreciated.

The example of the firing range can be changed into the stove top to eliminate stressors for non military folks, and I hope you team is wildly successful.

I was recently contacted by someone out of the blue; in essence, this is his pitch:

March on VeteranTM is the first tailor-made PTSD program available 24/7 from the privacy and comfort of your home. It is made by a veteran for veterans and does not involve the VA.

March on VeteranTM is currently under development but a large chunk of its content will be available in the next 3-4 weeks. We are looking for a select group of veterans to test a very early version of the PTSD support program.

There is NO charge. Your information will NOT be shared.

Anyone else know anything about is? I've agreed to participate because I am curious to what they are attempting to do. I have a good support system in place and come from a multigenerational family of PTSD survivors. (I really think there is something to this multigenerational aspect and would lie to see a study on it)

I think the focus is intended to be more of a Facetime/Skype/teleconference model for those who are not close to a VA but need help.
