I know without a doubt that I would be there at the drop of a dime for any of my Brother or Sisters. Can you look at yourself and say the same? I don't mean your familial brothers or sisters, but your Brothers and Sisters in Arms. Since being on RP I've had three Brothers say that to me, and it means the world. A person you've never met, to tell you that he or she has you in their hearts and minds, that is a debt you can never repay. Are you there? Are YOU YOUR BROTHERS OR SISTERS KEEPER?

I read an article on here yesterday and it referenced one of those guys who served but fabricated a lot about his time in via a diary. There was one quote that stood out in the midst of it all.

"When people ask him why he joined the service he retorts with a question of his own: “Would your coworkers die for you?”

Regardless of his character and bs diary he wrote - that's a solid quote that stood out and has meaning to it.

Why lie? I don't think any honest person will ever understand their reasoning/rationale for lying. At least he recanted and admitted he lied - some continue to lie throughout their whole lives. I can't count how many times I've been out at bars and in the midst of conversation, once they ask what I do and I reply I am in the military...I hear some of the most absurd stories. I'm pretty sure any vet can quickly figure out when the person he/she is speaking with...is full of crap - yet they continue to blab until called out.

Same here Jason. Guys will come up to me because I have a Pararscue hat or shirt on and ask if I was a PJ. When I say yes, they will start telling me the biggest bull story on how they used to be a PJ too. LOL!
You would think if you are lying about what you did in the military, a PJ, you wouldn't' to talk to a person that really was a PJ! Totally busted if you do! I don't get Posers. Half of them had respectable jobs in the military hey should be proud of. Why lie?
I don't get mad at them and call them out anymore. I just walk away and shake my head.

I'm sorry Warren Swan. I jumped on what Jason wrote and did not think that this thread isn't about Poser.
