As active duty draws down, personnel shortages make things increasingly difficult. However, Army Reserve Engagement Cells and Teams may be the answer. Their primary mission is to help AD counterparts fulfill their mission, fully integrate into staff, and fill personnel shortages. I recently started last week on the ARET here at Camp Zama, Japan.

So how many of you know about this program?

Have not read up on it but the RIF program was used in the early 90s as well.

SGT Steven Eugene Kuhn MBA This program may be one of several ways to resolve personnel issues in a shrinking force. I have recently created a page to expand visibility on our ARET here in Japan.
