As you look back over your military career; can you think of a deciding moment where you questioned whether you should stay in the military?

SPC Margaret Higgins - You have to ask yourself everyday if you are getting closer to your goals. If you are not, then immediately change course.

Even though physical disabilities forced my early retirement, there were many times I questioned. Especially when they stopped letting NCO's be NCO's and we had to watch every word, action, gesture etc because everything became an IG, EO, or SHARP complaint

Being as I never was an NCO, I did not know all of that; SGT Jason Karol. I wouldn't have wanted to stay in either.
I am infinitely sorry that you have disabilities; Staff Sergeant. I hope and pray that you are not in pain; and/or that you are not in too much pain.

Yes I can. It was a commander I had while at Ft Bragg that I did not like and I was willing to get out to get away from him. I'm glad I just stayed in and PCS to another duty station where I had a better command.

A lot less drastic, and yet still solved the problem, wouldn't you say; SSG Leo Bell?
