Sharia Law which is the Law of Islam is complete counter indicative of the United States Constitution, SEE BELOW:
Sharia law is the law of Islam. The Sharia (also spelled Shariah or Shari'a) law is cast from the actions and words of Muhammad, which are called "Sunnah," and the Quran, which he authored.
The Sharia law itself cannot be altered, but the interpretation of the Sharia law, called "figh," by imams is given some leeway.
As a legal system, the Sharia law covers a very wide range of topics. While other legal codes deal primarily with public behavior, Sharia law covers public behavior, private behavior and private beliefs. Of all legal systems in the world today, Islam's Sharia law is the most intrusive and strict, especially against women.
According to the Sharia law:
• Theft is punishable by amputation of the right hand (above).
• Criticizing or denying any part of the Quran is punishable by death.
• Criticizing or denying Muhammad is a prophet is punishable by death.
• Criticizing or denying Allah, the moon god of Islam is punishable by death.
• A Muslim who becomes a non-Muslim is punishable by death.
• A non-Muslim who leads a Muslim away from Islam is punishable by death.
• A non-Muslim man who marries a Muslim woman is punishable by death.
• A man can marry an infant girl and consummate the marriage when she is 9 years old.
• Girls' clitoris should be cut (per Muhammad's words in Book 41, Kitab Al-Adab, Hadith 5251).
• A woman can have 1 husband, but a man can have up to 4 wives; Muhammad can have more.
• A man can unilaterally divorce his wife but a woman needs her husband's consent to divorce.
• A man can beat his wife for insubordination.
• Testimonies of four male witnesses are required to prove rape against a woman.
• A woman who has been raped cannot testify in court against her rapist(s).
• A woman's testimony in court, allowed only in property cases, carries half the weight of a man's.
• A female heir inherits half of what a male heir inherits.
• A woman cannot drive a car, as it leads to fitnah (upheaval).
• A woman cannot speak alone to a man who is not her husband or relative.
• Meat to be eaten must come from animals that have been sacrificed to Allah - i.e., be Halal.
• Muslims should engage in Taqiyya and lie to non-Muslims to advance Islam.

I think most people wouldn't vote for a Muslim for president. I know I wouldn't. Being a Muslims is to follow the teaching of Muhammad, which includes following Sharia Law. Sharia law goes against the U.S.Constitution and the law of the land. It also mean to convert, kill or make into a 2nd class citizen all non-believers.

CPT Ahmed Faried - Well as a kid he went to a Muslim's school. Unlike other religious school, you have to be a Muslim to attend a Muslims school. He has admitted to this fact. And as so what? Well Muslim follows the teaching of Muhammad and Sharia law.Which includes but not limit too Honor killings, raping of little boys and girls, owning slaves, killing of homosexuals. All of which been abolish or made illegal by the U.S.Constitution. Muslim are the 5th Column in this country.
I have been dealing with Muslims and Islam since 1980. I believe in "Know thy Enemy", so I have tried to educate myself about Islam. What I found was a barbaric religion that has not change since its founding. Regardless what our leaders have said we are at war with Islam and because of that Muslim are the 5th Column in this country.

Where do you get your information?. I am honestly interested. Of course you are wrong, but if I know your source for information I might be able to steer you to the right sources. Firstly, no you don't have to be muslim to attend a school in Muslim majority countries and conversely attending a muslim-majority school doesn't all of a sudden make you a Muslim. Secondly Muslims follow the teachings of the Quran and not Muhammad. Muhammed is simply a prophet, like Jesus, Abraham etc. He relayed the messages but he wasn't the one that created them. Just as Christians follow the teachings of the Bible as relayed through Jesus (pbuh). The shariah law that you speak of is more cultural than religious. You will find shariah more prevalent in extremely conservative muslim countries, Saudi Arabia being pre-eminent among them. In the majority of Muslim majority nations which are secular, Shariah isn't the law of the land. Visit Turkey, Indonesia, Djibouti, Lebanon, etc they manage to be Muslim-majority and still secular in their laws. Honor killing, raping of boys or girls, owning slaves etc isn't a Muslim thing, it is cultural and found in areas where they practice Wahabism (conservative and backwards streak of Islam). Muslims are in the 5th column?? what does that even mean. And you have been dealing with Muslims since the 1980s? How then do you manage to still be so ill-formed? You follow that by declaring Muslims your enemy, sure that shows that you are open-minded and willing to have your views challenged. I won't bother with the rest. It is just red meat that can be found in many of the fringe-right sites out there. Here is my recommendation. Go meet actual muslims. Find a mosque, go in and in good faith make an attempt to understand them. I have a feeling your fear/hatred of Muslims will subside once you actually meet them rather than reading misinformation about them/us.

The Qur'an was written by Muhammad and by his followers while he was alive. Please DON"T even compare Christ with Muhammad it's like comparing apples to hubcaps "Honor killing, raping of boys or girls, owning slaves etc isn't a Muslim thing," All of those are happening right now!( Read something beside that liberal crap that US papers put out.) Only in your opinion that I'm as you said it "so ill-formed" FYI I met "real Muslims" and I have got to know them. And I still visit buddies graves on very 11th of November because we tried to know them and understand them. Now sir you have the right to your opinion and have the right to mine. I have fought for you to have that right so don't belittle me if my right of opinion differs from yours. That is one right you do not have nor does anyone else. I don't know if I responded to this. Islam is a political system, disguised as a religion. And I've heard Muslims say that our constitution is the most shariah compliant . And I can't understand that.

Sharia, which I equate to an Islam version of dispute resolution, does not fit or work in the USA. BUT, it is a dispute resolution method, similar to mediation. Meaning: if two parties AGREE to an Imam sharia hearing, they would be bound by it.... maybe.... the dispute resolition still has to be lawfull under local state and federal law. That is the civil side, no need to mention criminal side.

The issue here is that the representation of Dr. Carson's statement has continued to leave out the remarks about them specifically relating to those who want to practice Sharia Law, because like Dr. Carson stated, "That doesn't make a juicy story". I don't know many people who wouldn't oppose a candidate for a religious theocracy.
