I have a great affinity for well-done snarky signature lines/quotes. I never disseminate them out to other organizations; they're just little in-jokes between the folks in my shop to keep us laughing. Some of my past favorites:<br><br>"Your ability to walk short distances without dying will surely be the insurgency's downfall."<br><br>"...And in careful manipulation of data samples, lies victory." (Context: Worked with a guy that had a bad habit of playing with data samples to control a narrative in his favor, so I made a small play on the MI Creed; original reads "In truth, lies victory.")<br><br>"I can show you the world..." (The irony of this song in Afghanistan is just incredible.)<br><br><br>What are the best signature lines you all have seen?

I got in trouble for "Ne Conjugare Vobiscum". I figured everything sounds professional in Latin.
AR 25-13 Paragraph 3-2.c.(2): Emails generated by Army personnel in their official capacity from Army communication devices will not contain slogans, quotes, or other personalized information as part of the individual sender’s signature block. Signature blocks within emails will contain only the necessary business information, such as: the name of the organization; official mailing address or unit information; name of individual; telephone numbers; office email addresses or government websites; government disclaimer; unit historical motto; or any other information approved by HQDA.

several years ago, there was a news story out of FL where someone's pet chimp had escaped and there was a "chimp-hunt" ongoing trying to located the wayward primate. One of the guys in the neighborhood was concerned about how dangerous the situation was and made the comment
"You never know what a money is going to do to a child".
I will use that quote on occasion if I am sending a snarky email.

For a whole deployment in Afghanistan I made my signature block a line from the Declaration of Independence, changing once a weekl, from beginning onward. The Battalion XO once took me aside and asked what my anti-government rhetoric was about and whether I was starting a militia. I told him the source document, and he had a chuckle with me.
