Zulu, the 1964 movie about the British outnumbered on a foreign post by Zulu warriors.

Definitely a classic, Sgt Michael Kieloch, even if the scene with the troops singing "Men of Harlech" just before the initial Zulu attack was totally fictitious (there were no Welshmen at Rorke's Drift).

Moved 2 weeks ago. I blame you 100%...lol. It was a case of "Happy Wife Happy Life." We live dead center of all her Japanese speaking friends from the Japanese association she travelled to see every week.

"Casualties of War". I consider it to be the best war film I've ever seen, next to Saving Private Ryan. It's also based on a real story (google Incident on Hill 192). Brian de Palma (the director) does an incredible job of immersing you into the horror and graphic nature of war in this film.

The "clang" still reverberates from Michael J Fox cold cocking John C. Reilly in the brain housing group with that D handle shovel.

I always loved an Officer and a Gentlemen. Here is one of my favorite clips from the film. Richard Gere gave the best/worst acting ever in this scene.

You don't lie! If he wasn't in it, forget about it. I don't see anyone else pulling it off.

Capt Rob Newton, I made comparison based on how often war movies are shown on cable as compared to the more well known. Yes it is a classic, totally agree but during the Memorial/Veterans day weekend when some stations show 'war movies', it usually is not shown.
