Why is it we seem to never learn from our mistakes? Arrogance that the only thing I can think of as to why we never look to the future for both positive and negative aspects. Unbelievable.

It's seems that when it comes to many security aspects of our country, we are always in react mode. I think the Army's recent effort to really beef up the Cyber Command is great step, but I think the (Alphabet Agencies) should take the lead and get the best and brightest minds to work on building a proactive work plan to help better prepare our country for the future.

The cost of this preparedness, unfortunately, (I believe), is going to be paid in lives. China will cause 3 mile island to melt down or something, or disrupt the food chain, or open the flood gates of Hoover, before we get serious about stopping their incursions. Theirs, and others'.

SGM (Join to see) We are in the early days of threat response to cyber. We have specific I/O Groups that mainly defend, not attack. We will need cyber folks at each installation and associated web and network traffic before we can truly react to cyber as we do other threats.

SGM (Join to see) I love these articles that we post for the entire world. IF I were the Chinese, Russians, North Koreans, Iranians, ISIS, or any other potential enemy where would I concentrate my technology and future strategic planning to take down the United States or any other well developed country that isn't paying attention to this. I believe there are some measures in place and a lot of this is disinformation, but I also believe there are vulnerabilities in the systems that can be exploited as well. We have a lot of smart technical gurus out there in our masses. This needs to be a specialty that all the services need to recruit and build for in a serious way - Hey, forget about the APFT Test for these guys. Give them AMPT (Army Mental Physical Test) instead.

I guess we are waiting for the "big one" (i.e., the one that takes down our electrical grid) ... seems to be the way our government operates.
