Bring back the BDU? or change the material of the upcoming uniform to what the BCU was composed of?

BDUs were never broken so why did the Army need to fix them? Riggers used to make uniform adjustments and special pouches now we have to out source bazillion dollar contracts for "Gucci-flage" (from the movie, "Sniper")

I know the ABU and ACU are very simular. The fabric to me feels great, its nice and lightweight, and not having to iron/crese/starch? Yes please!

However, being in maintenance its HELL on my uniforms. I've had to replace 3 pairs of pants just this year alone due to stains. Because I rarely wear my top on the line, my pants generally become a different shade of grey, which I NEVER had an issue with my old BDU's. Plus with the old BDU's oil stains didn't show up, I could blend in stains and get more milage. Plus I liked the coloring more...

So if they would change the colors, and bring back the old leather boots, I'd be satisfied!

I wish that they would go back to the OD green (Vietnam era) uniforms! When I first joined the military, I was issued one of those (as they were being transitioned into the BDU's). They lasted a million times longer and looked sharp as hell creased with spit shined boots. The best rain coat I ever owned was my issued OD green rain parka, which I then had my field jacket liner sewed into it and treated the stitching to keep it water proof...but I digress.
