I’m here at AIT and I have this drill sergeant that absolutely hates everything me and another person in our platoon does the first 2 weeks we did get off on the wrong hand but I just wasn’t use to the freedom coming fresh out of basic I told her that and I’ve been staying under the radar for a while but she just looks for any and everything to chow us out about or give us a counseling so today we had a random room expectation and our rooms got trashed me and the guy she hates also so what she did was thrower everything out our drawers and brought the females to our room and told them that this is how we live and we’re dirty so she took our phones and a couple more guys I gave her a phone but she said I had more than one phone so she made me open my locker and searched through my bags in my locked locker with no permission and found a old phone I was wrong for not turning it in but everyone is telling me to go talk to my 1Sgt because it wasn’t right how I was the only one that got searched and she was never given permission to search any of my personal belongings she just decided to and made me open my locker should I talk to my first sergeant about this? Or is this just something I should just deal with 8 more weeks because I think she is trying to get me put out and I can’t take it

Are you serious? You yunguns have it easy these days. Why make your situation worse by taking up the chain of command? Just shut your mouth, do as you are asked or told and let it be.

If you honestly believe that you are being harassed and targeted, there are ways to address this. Your CoC, IG, etc.
But, and I mean this as solid advice, you need to make sure you are respecting the facts.
And it doesn't sound like they are. It sounds like your DS has been using DA 4856 to note your development. It sounds like you, of your own admission, are failing to adapt to military life. It sounds like you failed to follow the standard and a lawful order.
So, you're at a crossroads: do you raise this concern or do you accept it and fly under the radar? I'm telling you that this moment is not that moment to make your stand. AIT is such a small portion of your military career that it is easier to just follow instructions and do what is right and respects the facts. Your DS is responsible for your training and development. You are responsible for being moldable and trainable.

Nutt up buttercup there is no safe place here where you can be happy and safe. You need to either quit or become what all of us here were or are , a WARRIOR, I would never want a whine bag like you watching my back in a firefight, you might break s nail and get distracted,. So for the sake of the service quit they do not need you.

I don't understand.
You're in Basic to learn, train and become a soldier. You're not there for drama.
Say; "Yes, Drill Sergeant!" Learn and shut your pie hole.
You sound like a whining child.
It sounds like you don't belong in the Army. Perhaps, your Drill Sergeant is correct and should continue putting everything on paper and get you out before you get someone killed.

I think I want to hear your DS's point of view. I suspect you are angry for getting caught and you are not telling the whole story. :(

Get out now... If you think that your constitutional rights in boot camp have been violated you are WRONG... You are not even allowed to call your self a Private... That is reserved for those who graduate boot... Or your next stop during training. Like yours.
Oh by the way next time take a good look at the sign in front by the gate. The one that says warning ALL persons or vehicles are subject to search at any time WITHOUT A WARRANT!!! YES, THAT MEANS YOU!!! And everyone else who crosses that red line ... Or blue line on some Navy Bases.....
One more thing, please either use Grammarly or some other app because run-on sentences are really hard to read...

I'm assuming by now you're out of AIT unless you got recycled. I'm sure your DS hates everyone in your platoon equally unless you're making yourself stand out more. Maybe there's a snitch in the barracks or some other trainee who is spreading lies around that you are hiding drugs in your locker. Usually the guilty ones point the most fingers at others to take the attention off themselves. I've seen it many times.
Maybe you remind your DS of a few horrible trainees she had in the last class. If you want attention you'll get it and it may not be what you were expecting. Just pay attention and do as you're told. Don't smile either. We had cool instructors when I was in AIT. We did our job and we got along fine.
When you signed on the dotted line you just became property of the U. S. Army. Leave your civilian rank back home. When you arrive at AIT, you should be better prepared to start the next chapter of training. This sounds more like BCT or even high school theatrics.
By the way, where is the punctuation? Periods and Paragraph breaks are easier to read than one long sentence with no break. I can't tell when one sentence ends and the other begins. I couldn't finish reading it. If you write like this in AIT classes then no wonder your DS doesn't like you. She was probably a teacher before enlisting.

It has been my experience that anytime you have a Drill Instructor you will have no freedom. The military is not the real world. If you can not adapt you need to leave. You probably should have checked out in basic training. Go to your 1st Sargent and let him know. That's his job.

You were wrong. Deal with it.
And I'm glad I got to see the longest run-on sentence in the history of the English language before I die.

OMG, You think you have RIGHTS as a trainee? Maybe you need to rethink your lifes choices.

Wow! So much wrong in this story. You’re painting yourself as a victim. You’re this innocent person and the DS is gunning for you and another guy. Birds of a feather flock together. Take responsibility for your actions. Stop running your mouth, square your shit away, toe the line, but don’t step over the line. If you have problems with this Professional person, who I may remind you went thru hell to get her patch, more hell than you’ve gone thru, than there will be others. Unless you grow up and accept personal responsibility you’ll wind up with a less than Honorable discharge, blaming someone else for your situation. You are in the real world now.

You can't take it. Oh my god! Your in the militarhly now. Just keep everything as it's suposed to be. Do what your told. Every time youd told. No matter what it is. They're trying to teach you discipline l, and it appears you have given them reason to be using you as an example of what not to do. I'm pretty sure your DI doesn't have it out for you. I think if you spend a little more time on things and lose any attitude you might be showing, it will be different soon. The biggest thing most DI's hate is attitudes. You need to get into the military attitude not the one you had at home or with your friends. Im not saying that you have a bad attitude, but the attitude is not showing as a military attitude. It's called a military state of mind. As for your personal items. Unless there is anyfhing to hide in there then just clean if up and move on. They usually trying to help to keep you gounv in a straight line. And, if they see something thats going the wrong way. They try to correct it before it gets noticed by someone who can make real trouble. They show you real attitude. But thats part of teaching you self control and to follow orders. Don't take it personally. Just take what they give and say yez ma'am or yes sir. It will get easier.

I think you should shape up or ship out. The Military isn’t for everyone. This isn’t a “You must accept me as I am” career field. You need to do some self evaluation. You should also look for ways to turn it around in the eyes of your instructor. Volunteer for everything. KP, Flag Detail, hell, even Guidon Bearer. You need some responsibility Soldier. Being responsible will create a fresh sheet for you to start learning how to be a Leader. You also need to stop the complaining. Yes, you are being singled out. Yes it’s deserved because you haven’t displayed that you can do the right thing. You obviously care about your career as you are here, even if you’re complaining for the wrong reason. It’s still very early for you. Good luck.

If you are caught breaking the rules then you have to pay the consequences. Move on and do better it’s a simple fix. The real problem is when you get to your unit and you have nowhere to hide. I personally have never been “that guy.” But I know many others that have. Do I think that the Army crosses the line with bullying? Yes, I have seen it myself. Some NCO’ s and 1SG seem to be fixated on certain soldiers, and they do have a way of singling people out and not allowing for a quick recovery when mistakes are made. Honestly, I have never seen it help much of anything. When people are singled out it makes “that guy” say f*** off. And that’s the attitude you have to avoid as this will bring more problems. The kind of self-defeating false logic that says, “The beatings will continue until morale improves.” Is something your going to have to get used to. Just do what you were trained to do in Basic Training and you will be fine.

Sorry but I think either you need to adjust your attitude right now or life will be very hard for you for as long as you are able to stay in service. Multiple counselings while still in training is not good. Speaking of your rights as if you are civilian indicates a lack of understanding of the nature of military service. MAny or most recruits feel that drill sergeants are out to get them initially, that is part of ds job... To train you to accept your role and responsibilities. Honestly, based on your how you have handled it it might be true at this point. Hate to tell you this but if you choose to battle the DS authority you will lose, they have all the power. If you are still getting counselings that says they have not given up on you yet, a counseling is intended to document non-compliance AND to give a chance. But with the info you have submitted it feels like you may be on thin ice.
