Do PT Everyday. Ruck Every other day. This is PT and Rucking in addition to what you do already daily with your unit. Add weight to your ruck each time, So when you do your Quals at the set weight it will be much lighter and easier. If you can get assigned or attached to JFKSWCS Special Operations Preparation Course (SOPC). It use to be for 4 weeks. Now I hear it is 2 weeks. It will get you prepped for the Selection Course. Do not quit. I repeat. DO NOT QUIT. They play a lot of mind games. I wont go into details.. but remember you can do it. Others have so it can be done.

If you are serious... about going to the Q-corse
... Get in to Shape you want as close to 85-90% in all areas... Because we all have bad days and you want to get at least 75-80% when you take a the SFAS PT Test...
... Be able to do 12.5 Mike Ruck Marches in 3.5 Hours or Much Less... 14-15 min Miles...
... be able to carry 70-90 pounds in a Ruck...
... be able to carry Dead weight to the Tune of 75-90 pounds with a full combat load 35-40 pounds on your web gear and a loaded Ruck of 55 pounds...
... Know Land Navigation with a Compus and a Map... Not a GPS...
... Know The 5 Line Operations Order... and Frag Order... Ranger hand Book has them...
... Know or Learn your field Craft...
... Remember the Only easy Day was Yesterday... there is No tomorrow.... there is only today
... No mater what you Know make sure you do it their way...
Just because you make it thru SFAS don't expect to make it thru the rest of the Actual Q-Course...
when you are there... at Ft Bragg... Stay there Going Down Town gets as many if Not More Kids thrown out because they did something stupid Off post...
It does Not Hurt if You Have a good working relationship with the Lord because you are going to do a Lot of Praying...

SPC (Join to see), believe it or not, SFAS did not exist when I arrived at Fort Bragg in April, 1970! I can't help you. Sorry!
