Can anyone guide me as to what is different in an "Expeditionary" MI BN as compared to a Non- expeditionary BN?

I have just enlisted in the reserves and this is my first contract so I am not very familiar with Military terminology. The unit I am assigned to is an" Expeditionary" unit and I am trying to understand what does that mean for me?

Being in a unit that was rebranded as Expeditionary, we at the lower echelons didn’t see much difference. The only thing I can say I’ve really noticed is the frequency of my soldiers being piecemealed out for deployment has been at a higher tempo.

I was in the 321st Expeditionary MI BN. Basically what it means is that battalion will deploy every 4 years or can pieced our for deployments.

But noting really saves anyone in the USAR not in an expeditionary unit from being deployed as an individual augmentee. So it's also just a "name".

CPT (Join to see) it’s more than just a name for MI battalions. They just developed them in 2015.

CPT (Join to see) - Rgr sir, that's the year I left MI for a QM commission. RFX status is a more sensitive piece of info to know about a unit in the USAR.

SPC (Join to see) I'm a Navy Spook My Experience Might be Different. If Someone Offers You Tactical Intelligence the Wise thing to Tell them is "Go to Hell" "You're Tring to Get Me Killed" Expeditionary in Military Parlance Means Your Involved in a War before they Have decided to Give it a Proper Name. Yes I Have the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. I Wish You Luck and Please, Please Stay Safe. LOL!
