Don’t hangout in the Ville. Carroll is small but a 20 minute train ride to Daegu is all you need to have fun. Daegu has everything. Checkout Busan too.

Im at Carroll right now with ADA. Really small post, small px. Got a starbucks, and a food court with BK, Pizza hut popeyes and subway. The bigger px (Camp Walker) is only a short bus ride away and the post to post bus runs every hour for free. The immediate town outside ks really small and not appealing but Daegu is a 3 dollar ride by train.

Camp Carroll is the military depot for vehicles assigned in Korea You will be working for a E6 or E7 and it is was a two deep duty position. you will get to see a lot as you will go all over dealing with all branches of military while inspecting incoming and completed assets. you should like your job I was to go there but ended up at Osan Get to enjoy Korea as it is exciting and just stay out of the drunk bars you will have lots of time to see all parts of Korea again enjoy a great assignment

If you want to do your job, ask them if you can be transferred to the 6th OD BN. They control all munitions activity on Korea.
