Can anyone who is currently an 18D or 18F please contact me so I can better structure my self development for the near future?

As a current 18F, you cannot just transfer as you just stated. See and saturate the info LTC Shearer stated.
Go tak to a SF Recruiter, get some info, train your ass off, go to selection and see if you make it. You will be slated as a candidate for one of the 4 enlisted MOS’s. If and when you graduate SFQC, you then will be tested everyday of you life. The TMSGT will see if you even have the potential to be an 18F.

Bailey, I am neither a Delta or Fox, however, my last duty position I was a BN CDR for an SF BN. I may be able to help you. You want to go to the Delta course then at some point the Foxtrot course. Great goals, but remember if you don't make through SFAS you don't have to worry about either. I see you have a Ranger crest up, that is a great way to go. spend a little time in the Ranger BN get ranger qualified. If you get a chance get as much medical training/experience in the BN, it will make you more marketable. Hell, you might discover you like the Ranger BN, they are badasses.

Back to the 18D's I was not an 18D I was an 18A but that was a very cool job, hell, I thought all the SF MOS's were cool. Anyway I hope I gave you a little information. DOL!

aren't you a 42 A ? anyway, do your SSD 1 and get BLC then complete SSD 2 and get ALC, and so on. that right there will point you in the right direction. also read and study your AWTs . any questions , hit me back.
