That's a good question as it pertains to the Ashley Madison site, however, the site only proves 2 things, 1. that the individual did enroll, and 2. That the individual did communicate with someone. It does NOT prove that adultery (depending on definition by law where you are) took place, so, in my opinion, this maybe somewhat difficult to prove for many of them as adultery is the act itself. I guess what I'm saying, is just because you seen entering a church a few times doesn't make you religious... It can be assumed, but otherwise, until you view the activities inside the church, everything is assumed... Those who used military addresses to access the site could face disciplinary action, since adultery can be a crime under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, but proving adultery took place could be extremely difficult to prove via the site, however, use of a .mil/gov PC to access it has it's own disciplinary actions, and not using email verification is not a big deal since the credit cards weren't declined...
Now, that being said, of course we know better! Why else would anyone be on this site, and using a .mil/gov e-mail address??? LOL!

SGT Joseph T. Well your Commander in Chief (Bill Clinton) didn't, but was he considered a Fed??? That is great question, but I don't know the answer for sure. There seems to be double standards for some individuals. Maybe one of our Federal Employees out on RP can answer that question!
I don't think you should be fired for alleged adultery but there are huge issues with using your .gov or .mil email address for visiting adult websites or other such potentially high security risk sites.
Its obvious that there is a lapse in security if people are using government machines to access high risk sites.

Then again if we look at Germany's use of Economics to have a healthy and happy society the acceptance of Adultery as a phase of marriage issues that exist when the relationship has a poor support network to prevent it. I partly blame "Deployment Widows" as an issue as well. Since it's existed forever and that if we have more honest communication and respect for both partners there's a less likelihood of "cheating" or Adultery to begin with. While there's also Economic Issues that we don't provide proper financial resources and support for folks to avoid seeking outside comfort. Then again Germany and Scandinavian also decriminalized and legalized prostitution to help with ending Adultery issues since part of the problem was the women would engage in this as a way to make ends meet economically in the 80s and 90s.
