Can I deploy while on Adderall and Zoloft, as well as just after having a PCL surgery last month (up to a year to heal)?

I’ve asked several Sgts and Lts and even Doctors and I’m getting different stories each time?

The only person who can answer this is your unit leadership, they have the resources to get an answer. See your 1SG. Thank you for your service.

There is a list of medications that make you non-deployable, but it is constantly updated. The last time I looked SSRIs/SNRIs including Zoloft/sertraline were not disqualifying. However, CNS stimulants for ADD/ADHD such as Adderall does make you non-deployable. CENTCOM has the authority to grant a waiver for any disqualifying medications. The PCL injury isn't likely to be disqualifying for deployment, provided you heal well and don't have any lasting issues. But, you won't deploy while you are still on a temporary profile.

In addition, the CEnTCOM Surgeon has their own medical readiness conditions that relate to the austerity and mission specific to the location, commonly referred to as MOD12. Long story short, you might be deployable one place, but not another.
SRP will tell the tale.
