If a rental car is not explicitly authorized, you should not use your GTC for it. The GTC is for official government-related expenses. If your use is not explicitly approved, that is a misuse of the card (and you could face punishment).

If you are authorized to rent car then yes. If you are not authorized a rental car I would think twice before using that GTC. Uncle Sam don’t play when it comes to his $$$

I’m in ait, I’m tdy in return...I’ll be at ait for 5 1/2 months with no vehicle. Didn’t Bri g vehicle because of distance and circumstances.

Why do you need a vehicle in AIT your unit should take you to where you need to go or it should be close enough to walk.

Unless you got clear instruction s from your losing unit that you could, I would consider it an out of pocket expense.
