I can't answer your question, as I've been out 15 years, but with that said, it's questions like this that make RP a valuable tool for those seeking advice.
It's a much better use of RP than asking "Should a 2LT salute a 1LT?" Just saying...
Hopefully someone out there can put you on the right track with good info. : )

HAHA! Sir I completely agree with you. I couldn't believe that it was even a question.

From what I understand of the program, from a Navy standpoint at any point, no. However I am certainly no expert and you should contact your nearest Marine Corps recruiter.
You may have to repay your VSP if allowed to reenlist.

No problem Devil Dog. I hope it works out for you! I DO want to say that I also seem to remember reading somewhere once, years ago, that if you are able to reenlist that you may have to repay any VSP you received.

I'm pretty sure you can. I got out after my first tour and went back in a year later at the same rank (E-4). Should have re-enlisted and picked up E-5 for it at the time, lol. Of course this was back in 1981, which is why I said I'm pretty sure you can. Good luck, Bro.
