I've had my promotable status for a year now due to 11C points being high and my previous unit leadership didn't work on my last EOT award and PCS award and my S1 at my new unit is saying I might not be promotable now, does anybody have an idea of how long you can remain promotable before you lose it?

Unless it has changed in the last couple years, you remain Promotable as long as you continue to submit/verify/update promotion points sheets. But SFC (Join to see) is an absolute wizard on these types of questions. I swear that man knows every personnel / recruiting / retention regulation ever written, by heart. Let's see what he says.

Lol thanks! Promotion I'm not super hot on, but as far as I know, it's exactly as you said. You retain your P status as long as you keep your stuff updated. You never have to reboard, and in fact, after long enough you're automatically promotable with all your points even if you don't board.

Hellfire, We stayed a P until either we made the points or ETS's. Once qualified you were promote able unless you received UMCJ action.
