I received a Letter of Appreciation from an Air Force two-star general. Would this be considered a Certificate of Appreciation and worth 10 points or more?

Army folks get promotion points for letters of appreciation? Wow, guess that would change how the AF does them. They are pretty lose and fast with LOA (good ones). Get a LOA from GO, you will get one from your Wing/CC, Grp/CC and unit CC.

It is worth points based on the officerofficer's rank. Check the promotion points to be sure how much on hrc's website
