Can we search RallyPoint for a story to see if it was posted previously? If so, how?

I found a fascinating story on Facebook and felt it should be shared here on RP. However, I was reluctant inasmuch as it seems the kind of thing that someone must've shared previously. Well, I decided to share it regardless of whether or not someone else had shared it. Surely there must be others like myself who hadn't seen it here before.

Dang good question CPT Jack Durish. There's no direct way. One can search through the specific group pages to see if it was tagged but there's also a little URL hack you can use. If someone else has shared the same link, the duplicate will have a "--2" at the end of it. If its been shared three times, a "--3, and so on...

CPT Jack Durish here is how I search RP: go to google. Put RallyPoint + the title/topic + if known any members names. I have to use this even to find things I KNOW I POSTED and the EXACT title , which eludes the RP organic search engine. SSG Carlos Madden

See my comment below. You can search using Google, Bing, et al, by just including RallyPoint in the search criteria
