I did not find a restriction listed on the 8th Army website.

No Command Sponsorship will get approved in Casey. But there are a few people who have their family here non-command sponsored.

Can you get Command Sponsorship if you will be in Area I in Korea?

The only instance I remember where someone got Command Sponsorship while at Casey was when a Soldier got married while in Korea. It wasn't easy, and he had to extend. One of the hurdles was he was getting married to a Filipino lady and had to prove she WASN'T married back in the Philippines!

If you mean moving your family there with you, then not likely. Only people I've seen there at Casey with family is usually command.

I left Casey in 15 and there were no more command sponsors there. It is mostly for rotational units.

Thanks. I found the answer on the 2id page. Not sure why 8th army isn't providing the same info on theirs, which they should.
