It's a miniature trident for one (Hat pin I think). Order of precedence is just wrong, and he has two National Defense ribbons. I don't even know what that first ribbon is, but there's only a few medals that outrank a Silver Star, and I'm pretty sure that isn't a US award.
Bar isn't centered over the pocket. Marksmanship medals aren't next to each other, and CAR is between them... (It's highest ranking Ribbon in the for Navy/USMC).

SPC Brandon "Wheelz" Wheeldon A regulation trident is actually "huge." Most Navy Warfare devices are. The wings are a little over 2 ribbons wide on a full size one.
