Changes to BLC for SM with a permanent, no push-up profile?

I was supposed to attend BLC on March 19th but was told at a briefing two days ago that there are changes this cycle, from TRADOC I believe, for people on permanent profiles for no push-ups and/or sit-ups (I have one for no push-ups only.) I was told by the cadre at the Fort Bragg NCO Academy that this information could be found on their ACT page however I have had no such luck finding it. I'm still kicking myself for not asking them to provide their source up front.
I was wondering if anyone else has heard of this new change and could point me in the right direction or could provide me with this document. I am not calling their integrity into question. I would like to see this change for my own peace of mind.
EDIT: I should mention that this "change" states that SM with a no push-up and/or sit-up profile cannot attend BLC due to there being no alternate event on the APFT. No running profiles remain unchanged.

I just talked to the deputy commandant where I am. He said a new CMP is coming out, but he hasn’t seen anything yet regarding what your asking. If I get any more info I’ll let you know.

I actually just got a reply back from a representative from the Fort Bragg NCOA and was told the same thing. Thank you MSG!

That's just not possible. If TRADOC, or even a local BLC, created a policy that stated you couldn't attend with a permanent profile for pushups or sit-ups, they would essentially be saying that no one with a permanent pushup or situp profile can get promoted. Since they can't get promoted, they reach RCP Nad separate.
TRADOC doesn't have the power to create policies to separate Soldiers. A subcommand cannot create policies that the entire department of the Army has to follow, and they can't create policies that will kick out entire populations of the Army.

Start at your S3/BDE S3, or G3. If they don’t have the answer, try the Army level at the below link I found for you...

I will definitely check with my S3 again to see if they have the answer. Fortunately, one of them was with me at the brief and informed their NCOIC about my situation. If not, I will contact the higher echelon. Thank you for your help sir!

I was able to enroll recently in BLC and have a permanent profile for push ups, so I don’t take the push up event on the pt test. However I had to get push ups at own pace put on my profile so I could lead pt for those drills and get all the modified versions of prep drills, etc... taken off. I also had to get a memo stating I could do the climbing drills, mountain climber etc... It was tough for me but not impossible. However they might give you less of a hard time, they just stated that I had to be able to lead the formation like everyone else and if I didn’t have that stuff put on or off my profile then I wouldn’t be doing it to standard and therefore couldn’t attend. Hope this helps man

I am keenly interested in this as well, as my PLT is full of CPL(P)'s waiting their turn.

I currently teach BLC and no, this is not a thing. I will say that the new CMP no longer allows PT, Ht/Wt, or eval failures to get the same treatment as soldiers who pass everything. Any failure during BLC now constitutes a Marginal 1059.

Suspended Profile
The new CMP should be on the ACT page, and my recommendation would be to read that. It will answer any questions you may have. If not, then I would also recommend going to the school house and asking them. A lot of Soldiers are afraid to ask questions, but the instructors and staff at the academy are literally there for you. The staff duty is an instructor as well, and should be able to find an answer for you.

Suspended Profile
Edit - there is word about that rule being on the new CMP, but the new CMP has not officially been released yet. As of now, any profile with a 2 just needs to bring the profile with them. Any profile with a 3 needs the profile and board review findings. Other than that, no additional restrictions.
