Which do you prefer? Why?
Which one do you think will finally put Nintendo out of business, or do you think a roaring comeback is on the horizon?
As an avid Microsoft supporter, Xbox is my console of choice. It is great for my household, the advancements in motion-capture and voice commands, and once the library starts building it'll be unstoppable.

Nice thought, but no. As an avid gamer of all systems, I can say without reservation that the console is now the master of the game world for one huge reason: specialization. The console was bred for nothing but games, and the hardware (albeit out of date from the day it is released) never changes, meaning developers can focus on game development in place of hardware support structure; more time spent on game play makes for more polished games. It is also easier to load up a game, play a quick match, then shut down again for "gamers-on-the-go" which is the vast majority of gamers in our fast paced world of "I want it now!".
Still love playing my computer games, but the console is now outpacing the computer in every scale with regards to gaming. Put it this way: you have $1,000 to spend. Would you rather buy an Xbox One/PS4 and 10 games, or a mid-level computer and one game? From a gaming standpoint, the console is the better value, even if the computer has better graphics and a rich interface as well as being multi-purpose.
To be fair, it falls to personal preference...but the days of "PC master race!" are no more.

I loved my playstations but lets "Keep It Real", PC is master of all game platforms...

The top of the line model is $900 and it only comes with 8gb of memory? I can build a comparable PC with a 1 TB hard drive for right around that price.

Don't get me wrong , its a great innovation but you can still use a controller with PC.

PO3 Brendan "Smitty" Smith 8GB of memory and a 1TB hard drive are two entirely different components that affect different portions of the system. RAM is performance, hard drives are storage capacity.
Pricewatch.com is a good resource to build a computer; could probably get 16 GB of RAM, a 1TB SATA and a 500GB SSD for less than $500 if you shop around.

My daughter has the Wii....not Wii U. MY "go-to" system still involves Flippers and Bumpers....
