Terrorism, mostly Islamic terrorism, is erupting across the globe. Is the civilian population becoming complacent because it's commonplace? Is it because it's not sensitive to call a duck a duck? How prepared are your soldiers in not compartmentalizing their situational awareness and keeping their head on a swivel when not in uniform?

This kind of Crap has been going on as long as I can remember in Bangladesh and I'm a 58 year old Grandpa. The only thing that has changed is the Amount of Media Coverage. Nobody cared about Bangladesh before.

Calling a crazy duck, a religious duck appears more attractive and increases their numbers, that is why the Middle Eastern nations call ISIS DAESH. The use of religious names made it possible for bad priest to molest kids for 20 plus years because they were called priest instead of pedophiles.

Captain, while priests molesting children is a horrible thing, they weren't bombing airports, cafés, and other crowded places. Perhaps the translated to English version of the Quran I read was flawed, but the call to kill those that don't convert was concerning. But your point is one that should not be ignored.

Ever sense Pakistan & Bangladesh split up, and yes, I'm old enough to remember when Bangladesh was West Pakistan...lol... I to remember this kind of thing going on for as long as I can recall. PC AND complacency are, in my estimation, some of the MAJOR reasons this continues.
