SPC Margaret Higgins Capt (Join to see)

Interesting story. When I went to BNCOC last OCT in 2014, the Ft. Huachuca MI Branch SGM as well as the commandant welcomed us there. He said...

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Good Morning. So glad you could make it, thanks for showing up."

My reaction...

"Say What?!?!"

Don't know I had a choice. Lol.

No kidding around here ;) MAJ Alvin B.. I am quite sure that the Army would have sent search dogs after me; had I stuck my little pinky out the door of the barracks- in Basic Training.

As a Marine Sergeant I attended BNCOC at FT Sill in 1984. We had a small class 4 Marines and about 25 Army. We had two Spec 4s (P) who went UA in the School. My thoughts were that they were jacked up and their command sent them there to let them fall on their sword so they could get rid of them.

No problem at all. Growing up I knew what would happen if the rules weren't followed.

Capt (Join to see)! You are right. There are no other options when one first enters the military.
