not me personally, nor do i know the person... but you hear things in the DFAC
with the 101st shortly after coming home from JRTC (apparently) there was a group of soldiers partying in nashville and not wanting to split a cab or drive drunk (responsible) they called a Sgt for a ride. as the story goes from one of the soldiers, the sgt was drinking with his family and noticed the responsibility of the troops so he signed out a TMP from staff duty picked them up came home. (short version)
what makes it funny is... the soldier that brought the sgt on base was sober, was written as the driver of the TMP and was along for the ride. when coming on base the SGT was stopped at the gate got DWI all that and the sober soldier took over from there.
in recognition of the soldiers' responsible decision not to drive they got 4 day weekend and no unit formation about the safety crap we've all had to endure, SGT however got busted and had early AM formations for a week and AR15

Made E-4 at 0700 hrs, punched E-5 at around 0830 hrs. 1300 hrs, busted back to E-2 w/ $250.00 fine. E-5 court martialed at later time, dishonorably discharged. Well worth it!

Funny enough my one, and only, Art. 15 was due to my wife. Let me explain...
My wife and I were trying to buy our first new car and need my CO's signature to prove employment. Well, at the time, my CO was on leave. I told my wife that as soon as he came back that I would get his signature and we could process the loan. Two days later my wife tells me that I don't need to worry about the signature anymore because the loan went through. Being young and naive I just blew it off. My bad!
The first day my CO is back and my squad leader, platoon leader, and 1SG come looking for me. The escort me up to my CO's office and explain to me that I will be receiving an Art. 15 for forging my CO's name on a loan application. Son-of-a-bitch! I finally understood why my wife didn't need that signature anymore.
At the end of my proceedings I get told that my Art. 15 is summarized and that my rank is suspended pending a 30-day observation for further acts unbecoming. So my Warrant and my squad leader meet me in the hall afterwards and proceed to take my E-3 pins from me and give me E-2 pins.
Now understand, at this point I was so damned nervous, about doing something else stupid, that I didn't question what they were doing.
So, two weeks pass and my 1SG calls me up to his office. I walk into his office where is standing, looking out of his window. He calls me over next to him and we both look out of the window for a minute or two before he turns to me and ask me who demoted me. I told him that it was my Chief and squad leader (Sgt. Maynard) and his response was, "Those dumb fucks!".
He then informed me that he had to promote me from an E-2 to an E-4 by the end of the week. WTH? So, he pins me with my E-3 and informs me that my wife is welcome to pin me at my promotion ceremony. At this point I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry but I just look him in the eyes and respond with a solid "Hooah 1SGT".
As if that were not enough....at my promotion ceremony my Battalion CO shows up. After I am pinned with my CPL he announces a Call to Orders in which he personally presented my with an Army Commendation Medal for bravery in the line of action (albeit it was during an FTX). I was the squad leader for our QRF and we had saved our Battalion CO after he was pinned down by enemy fire.
And did I mention that my Chief and squad leader were the ones who assigned me to QRF????
Gosh I miss the Army!

Disrespecting a Commissioned Officer for saying "Aye, Aye Ma'am!" in a disrespectful tone. I shit you not, that's what the Report Chit said I was accused of. Awarded: reduction in pay-grade, half months pay x2, 45 days extra duties.

Didn't get an article 15, was threatened daily. I had won soldier of the quarter for post. The awards were be assigned to the CSM as a driver for three months. Every day hr would be driven off post to a nearby bar and spend the day there. I opted out and chose the other option as an Honor Guard and assigned to the top secret side of post where the first drones were being tested. My Honor Guard SSG was an African american (politically correct in 1992). He had 19 other African American soldiers assigned to his squad. His plan was to start an honor guard consisting of just black guys and since it was Ft Huachuca where the original buffalo soldiers were started. His aim was to get historic clothing and weapons of Buffalo soldiers and he would have the only honor guard of buffalo soldiers. The army told him no way, out of the question. In order to throw a wrench in the works MILPO assigned me, the only cracker out of 20 soldiers. From that day on the SSG would have some of the biggest guys start a fight with me then threaten me with article 15. After 2 months of this we had a parade for Gen.into d my SSG was in charge of closing ceremonies but wasn't paying attention and made a cluster of taking down the flag. The CSM asked him why he screwed up and he lied and said command had told him to do it that way. Well he was able to verify the lie with a phone call. I then went into the EEO office and filed a complaint of racial discrimination... A whiteass cracker being discriminated against. By Monday he was a spec 3 and the next week or to he was out with a dishonorable discharge.

Almost got one. Was a day or two into boot camp. Not a good start. We were out on the pad and learning the PT route we would perform every day. It was the middle of the day and the Sun was beating down pretty hard in San Antonio. Once the PT drills were done, our TI asked if anyone had any questions. Well this one dumbass piped up and said he may not remember it all, could they please explain it again. So, they ran us through two more hours of PT drills to ensure he would not forget. By now, our newly shaven heads were blistered red, with some of the fairer skinned guys already scabbing up with pus. We were righteously pissed at Airman dumbass and that evening we gagged him and held him down while a bunch of us got some licks in on him. The next morning, our TI rounded up most who were involved and informed us that we were to stay put and prepare for Art 15 actions against us. He disappeared for a little while then came back and told us to go back to our flight. He explained that since we had not yet been briefed and trained on the UCMJ, it did not yet apply to us, so no actions would be taken. Still don't know if that was the truth, or if he was just trying to put us through a good scare.
