Did You Know That Researchers Say Gene Changes Can Show Who's Gay? Do You Believe This Is Possible?

It's a controversial idea, and they have not made public the details of what they did. But the research, being presented at a meeting of genetics experts, suggests a variety of factors come together to help determine whether someone is gay or straight. I love science and I do think this is quite a bit out there... but if this were to pan out, do foresee a "military accession" application for this?

This controversy has been going on for a while now. Those that believe there is a genetic cause of homosexuality have been opposed by those in the homosexual community that don't want to be seen as the result of genetic mutations (defects).
If it is genetic it is also a defect; homosexuality defeats the design purpose of sexuality in nature.

Capt Seid Waddell It seems it would be as simple as getting Gay Genetic Researchers to verify and either prove, or disprove the work as genetics isn't always indicative of a defect if they can show that it's not a mutation...

MSgt Curtis Ellis, the research did not identify a "gay gene", but rather a series of genes associated with homosexuality. The article also noted that this was a small study, and much larger studies needed to be done and replicated by other researchers before any causal relationship could be determined.
But a genetic cause would of necessity be a defect caused by mutation, as this is opposed to the design function of sexuality in nature - homosexuality defeats procreation by definition.

Well it has been said for ever that homosexuality is not a mental thing, so there must be a physical attribute that can be tied to it. Seems like a feasible line of investigation.
