"Afghanistan's acting Defense Minister Masoom Stanekzai speaks during an interview with The Associated Press at the defense ministry in Kabul, Afghanistan, Monday, Oct. 19, 2015. Stanekzai said Monday that the Doctors Without Borders hospital in Kunduz that was bombed by U.S. forces on Oct. 3 killing at least 22 people and wounding many more, was being used by Taliban insurgents and possibly Pakistani operatives as a ‘safe place’."

I have little doubt those Taliban turd bags were hiding in that hospital.
Regardless, it should not have been fired upon as critical infrastructure and a protected target. Doing so requires VERY senior approval.
That is why we have proportional force rules. If it became necessary to engage enemy holing up in a hospital, it should have been done with ground forces clearing it, not an AC-130. Unless absolutely necessary... but that is why there will be an inquiry.

If true, it could be seen as a good thing that we bombed that hospital.

PO1 John Miller, agreed. And it would also say something about the loyalties of Doctors Without Borders who are calling it a war crime and denying there were any combatants there.
