The U.S. Navy has found the missing ship El Faro. The El Faro appears to have been found found at it's last known location in one piece at a depth of about three miles (15000 ft). They plan on sending a sub to confirm the ship they've located is the Elfaro.

Families of the 33 crewmates onboard may after a month of waiting finally be receiving some closure on what happened to their loved ones.

Thank goodness. Hopefully they can bring it up or maybe recover the remains?

CPT (Join to see) I am pissed off that the CG called off the search after only a week. There's a missing life boat, yet, and those boats have enough supplies to keep people alive for weeks and weeks. Never mind the hydrostatic life rafts. I know they can't looking forever, but damn. Give it more than a few days ffs.

Maybe they'll find some answers. I hope the shipping company gets taken to task...

The owners have already filed a request in Federal Court to limit their liability. Interesting thing is you can't think the way you're used to in this type of liability as it comes under Admiralty Law which at the end of the day, is much harder to get cash out of.
