Is anyone else having trouble finding uniform items in OCP if you are not on or near a military installation?

Are the OPC and MultiCam unit patch same? I have been trying to find something denoting thread color but to no avail. The Exchange website doesn't have a USACAPOC patch in OCP. I called Bragg and was told they didn't see any but to call back tomorrow and talk to the ordering manager.

How about nametapes? Are multicam nametapes close enough to OCP to not make a difference? I would like to order some sew-ons but of course no where online is selling actual OCP sew on tapes. Trying to talk to the alterations shop on the phone is trying at best.

Just a funny update on this. My nametapes I ordered from the exchange website list 1" Multicam Nametape on the packing slip.

I know you can find multicam online along with it's associated patches and such. I haven't seen the new Scorpion camo online yet, they are selling it at the AAFES clothing sales shop here at Whiteman though.

SrA Matthew Knight I am unsure if you are aware of this but the new Scorpion pattern is officially called OCP, Operational Camouflage Pattern. The MultiCam uniform was formerly called OCP, Operation Enduring Freedom Camouflage Pattern, is now called OEF-CP and is authorized to wear now stateside along with UPC and OCP until 1 Oct 2019. The problem I was trying to avoid was ordering items from non-exchange websites and receiving the incorrect items. Most websites list "OCP (MultiCam)" name tapes etc but now those are not the same thing. I'm picking up a couple of sets tomorrow when I am at Ft Sill or driving through Tinker AFB.

The patches are the same color; the nametapes are not. It would take a pretty eagle-eyed NCO to spot the difference, but you know, so don't be that guy. Commercial sites have the correct tapes available.

Your probably having issues finding uniform items because the new pattern is called OCP ... Not OPC. The patches for multicam and OCP are the same, as are the name tapes, rank, U.S. Army tape, and skill badges. Clothing and sales stocks all of these items.

Err....I wonder how I kept doing that. I know it is called OCP, unfortunately, and MultiCam was renamed to OEF-CP. I wonder if my phone was changing it without me noticing. I was concerned because the colors of the OCP and MultiCam are not quite the same. I figured with the small size of these items would probably not be noticeable but I didn't see the ALARACT address this issue. Now I can at least order some unit patches. Thanks CSM(P) (Join to see) and 1SG (Join to see) for keeping me squared away!
