Last week Obamas DOJ introduced the 'Strong cities network' a globalized police force to thwart homegrown terrorism specifically designed to increase local dependence on federal and international authorities….. Obama and the UN policing our home towns… lets add this to my conspiracy list….because it deserves to be watched.

Why do we need state law enforcement authorities? National law enforcement authorities? Simple. Because crime isn't limited by artificial boundaries. The same is true of international boundaries and international crime of all sorts, including terrorism, is growing. Thus, I see no problem with increased cooperation between agencies and, if need be, an international law enforcement agency. However, that being said, I would not accept it unless it were bound by American standards of jurisprudence and legal rights. That's a deal breaker...

SrA Art Siatkowsky this is patently ridiculous. We have a national police force in the forms of DHS, FBI, US Marshal Service, etc... Their mandates are to enforce Federal Laws, Enforce the law on Federal Lands, and to act when a crime crosses states. I know that is overly simplified. What the Federal Law Enforcement agencies are not mandated to do is enforce state and local laws. Here in Florida, we are about to have an open carry law pass. New York has highly restrictive gun laws. It is the right of each state to govern itself. So unless a state requested the assistance of the Federal Government and the United Nations, it would not fly. Every state has quirky state, county, and local ordinances that would make a global police force trying to enforce laws on American Soil difficult at best. It would require that the US institute one Federal Law that governs all states, and replaces state laws. That would violate states rights. There would be an uprising on a national level if the Federal Government tried to do that. I don't think that the Federal Government would try that. Not because of any belief that they would see it as wrong, but because it would weaken their ability to line their pockets. If the US Constitution won't keep them in check, their greed will.

I would agree law enforcement should remain local but on several occasions our current pres mentioned his desire for a nationalized police force.. That is worrisome and so any movement in that direction should be scrutinized.

SrA Art Siatkowsky - I am concerned by the new travel requirements that are coming out. Limiting the way American citizens can move within the country seems a little USSR to me. What comes after that? We are already having unconstitutional monitoring of our communication.

PO3 The strong city network is true. it's no BS aand the network is run out od London. It has no Senate approval and UN laws prevail.

SrA Art Siatkowsky The UN has no authority in the US. I don't know where you got that they are policing our home towns. But would it be good to have a global police force, that would be nice if they would be nice. There are just hings that the military can't do.

SGM There is no policing of our cities. This is a network of cities that signed up for this mess. I think most fear that this will lead to a global police force and the Constitution will be in the trash can.
