Do You Agree With Obama That We Can Have Relations With Iran?

I believe it's worth a try the alternative is what another conflict war. More refugees more lives lost more money we don't have. If it doesn't work then I guess we fight.

Yes I agree that we can have a relationship with Iran or any other nation. The Iran agreement is just the first step. Every trip starts with the first step.

It is imperative that we have relations with Iran! They may be strained at first but they have to start somewhere. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Actually, I believe that we can have very good relations with Iran, just not while it is led by a despotic group of religious fanatics. President Obama missed his opportunity several years ago to support a popular uprising in Iran and their movement folded. Hopefully, another such chance will appear some day and we'll have a less "shy" President who will recognize and take advantage of it.

We'll never have "formalized" relations with them. Now like the article says, I'm sure we'll do backdoor talks and deals like we do now with other nations.
