The Prime Minister of Iraq has announced that he feels it's not necessary for the US to send in ground troops to help them take back Ramadi.
Do you agree with the Prime Minister? Why or why not?
Do you think the US has made the right decision to send in ground troops?

According to the news this morning they don't want us because they believe the we are supplying ISIS and don't trust us.

SGT Jerrold Pesz I did not hear this on the news. I saw the Prime Minister state that he felt his troops were sufficient and could do the job on their own. I do not believe they can and they need ours and others support.

Iraqis think the U.S. is in cahoots with the Islamic State, and it is hurting the war
On the front lines of the battle against the Islamic State, suspicion of the United States runs deep. Iraqi fighters say they have all seen the videos purportedly showing U.S. helicopters airdropping weapons to the militants, and many claim they have friends and relatives who have witnessed similar instances of collusion.

I actually got a briefing from a Middle East Foreign Area Officer about two weeks ago saying that the Iraqis think we are helping ISIS. I'm not surprised to see this. Look at my previous posts to see more info on the briefing and briefer.

SGT David T., Then the egg is on our face, and we would be called cowards. In the meantime, ISIS will continue to grow.

Yes, Why? Because he already has the support of the Iranians and Russians. Now if we are going to send in ground troops, stop screwing around and send in enough to make a difference and win the fight.

They are just trying to save face. If they didn't need them they wouldn't be where they are at. They haven't really won any battles on their own. It just goes to show how they run a country. They think they are better than they actually are.
