I am sure they are working on the technology but I doubt they are putting them into Soldiers yet. This does raise a lot of questions. How do they test these? What happens if the experiments go wrong? Who would decide who gets them? Would they be mandatory for all military members? I can see a lot of ethical and religious objections to these so I think they are a ways off for now.

Yea, the religious one would be something about the Mark of the Beast. It's shocking how often that comes up.

I know that there have been brain mapping studies but I don't think controlling the impulses to control the actions of an individual is something we can accomplish or even know how to go about yet. So I don't think it's happening, but probably will at some point in the future.

We are close to all of these things, the problem is control over the technology and invasion of privacy.

I think we need a true story from Maxwell staff. It's not a problem to control, problem is in desire of a soldier to put such thing inside their spine.

It is the logical next step in medical advancement. You create implants to track the performance of the human body, then use implants to control and enhance the human body. Perfect things for military applications.

Do you believe DARPA is implanting or will implant microchips into soldiers?

It will happen. The information contained could save your life, ID you if your body goes missing. Have your medical records on you. Yep its gonna happen and it may save your life. Now this of course all depends one the chip designer and the program having your welfare at heart. I still believe there is more good than bad in America. If I am right this will be a good thing.

TACTIC units from Air Force had them for ages, my concern is the artificial intelligence connected to them.

Is this supposed to be sinister?

"A new prosthetic hand which connects directly to the brain has been created by American scientists, providing a “near-natural” sense of touch. The developers claim their new invention could revolutionize the lives of people with missing or paralyzed limbs"
