So, this is from the Daily Beast, and it infers that military veterans must be monitored. It brings up "the present and historical ties between American hate groups and armed servicemen and women....".

My own belief is that, because Veterans, Evangelical Christians, conservative Catholics, and mothers disagreeing with school boards tend to not vote the way that the staff of the Daily Beast would like, then they should be rounded up like the Gypsies and Jews in Germany in 1939 (too much of a threat to the New Order).

It seems that this article would classify George Washington as a "Radicalized Military Vet".

So, how do you see it?

I believe “writing like The Daily Beast did, spurs fear and concern, but no one has actually looked at the numbers."

Very good point. One of the first rules of the leftists: Scream and accuse your opponent of doing the dirty tricks that YOU are actually doing.

It might depend on the definition of "radicalized." If it is to the left, the point might be valid.

Perhaps, MSG Lonnie Averkamp - If that's the case, I am content to let it go over their heads. Reality will eventually make itself known to them, and I suspect that their heads will be the first to feel it.

No guarantees, however. There could be serious recti-cranial inversions.

What is an extremist? When you consider polls show only 30-35% of the population feel our country is on the correct course, that means 65-70% are not content with our current state of affairs. I would wager veteran philosophies follow the same pattern. The 30-35% and elitists look down on the gross percentage as ignorant, misguided, or terrorists because they don't share their opinion on how things should be. The pendulum will swing.

In recent years, we have heard from the Left this myth of radical veterans and Hate Groups within the ranks. Nothing could be further from the truth. There is no evidence of radical groups within the ranks. Yet, the Left continue to raise the issue. If it were true, wouldn't the senior leadership have brought it up? The only organized groups that have been identified are branches of domestic street gangs operating on and near bases. About 15 years ago, Kaiserslautern Military community had a significant street gang presence, not sure of the status now.

Agreed! This seems to be a typical tactic of the Leftists: Take a phrase that demonizes your opposition (whether it is founded, or not), repeat it enough in the media, and eventually you will have egg-heads in college student unions and newsrooms repeating it, because it is "....common knowledge...".

No. Of course not. And the numbers prove the assumption wrong. Increasingly, the perpetrators tend to be transgender/gay or far-left.

You have to remember a few presidents ago all formal military were potential home grown terrorists so I don't have to much fath that this is true or needs to be worried about.

Yup! And having their Inside-the-Beltway FBI Administrators putting out memos that veterans, in general, needed to be monitored and potentially disarmed.
