If life keeps beating you down, over and over, relentlessly, overwhelmingly...does it ever become ok to just...become weary? When it tantalizes you with some fresh new situation that infuses you, for one more day, with the ability to function and then crushes you flat...time and time again...isn't there some line where it becomes ok to just...fucking...get tired of it?
Edit: Meh. Re-reading this it comes across as whining. Sigh. That wasn't my intention. I genuinely think there has to be some ephemeral line in the sand where you can decide you've done all you can.
Just one of those days.

I sure as hell do but honestly, I don't think that I've never been depressed or bored with life. When I start to get tired of people around me and when things start to go bad, I just take a good look around me and I can see that my life isn't that bad after all. Life is what we make of it. We do have choices and it's up to us to make the right choice. They say that God will never give you more than you can't handle. Sure, my plate gets full, I sometimes get overwhelmed but I always pull myself up because I have a real purpose in life, a direction and that is to do and be the best that I can. My stress relieve is and has always been playing my horn. I've been playing the trumpet since I was eight years old and when I get down, I grab that horn and play away! It's great and everyone around me loves to hear me play. Hell, I even played for President Kennedy at his Inauguration. Yep, sometimes things really appear to suck and I just want to say "fuck it." But just take a moment and look at all the gifts that God has given you and you will see that life really isn't that bad after all. Just take life as it comes, one day at a time. WTF-Over?

Oh there are many times where I am sick and tired of the bull! Just seems like your pounding your head on the wall for no reason. So go around it then. Eventually things do change and things start moving in the right direction, through persistence.

You change the direction. If the wall doesn't move and you can't get through, then go around or over. It may cause a complete change of plans, but sometimes that's what has to be done for success. A complete change in direction or plans. Just keep pushing on!

SN Greg Wright I guess I'm the "energizer bunny". I'm going on all cylinders and never really get tired of anything at all. I enjoy working 12 hours a day and love every challenge that life throws at me. Been that way for the longest time, even when I've fallen on tough times. I have no room to be tired about anything. I guess I'm one of the fortunate people in the world. I like to help veterans, so if your feeling down, drop me a message and let's see if we can't find away to get out of the funk and back into that PMA Mode (Positive Mental Attitude) Mode!
