If they want to reduce number I say do what any good business does, shift around assets until the numbers look right. Move a large percentage of Active SMs to Reserves and Guards. If anything pops off we will have a force to call upon, and no need for a major swelling in numbers by lowering standards to get the numbers.

Kinda makes sense

My issue isn't so much that they're cutting everyone's numbers as much as the nonsense that we'll most likely buy with the freed up money.
