I would trade in every badge, medal, service stripe, and rank insignia to have brought all of my Soldiers home to their families whole rather than broken or in a box.

Why not wear them if he got them in a time of peace. And if that's the case most of us would trade in those welcome to the Army ribbons.

I didn't know we had one of those. So when I clicked your link, I was expecting some sort of unusual, super hooah looking badge. Rather disappointed to see it is just a tiny addition to regular aviator badges. But I guess in a way that makes sense, as while now flying in space is pretty elite, in the future I guess it won't be much more unusual than flying in the air. Sort of like they gave Lindbergh a huge parade for flying from the USto Europe, and now everybody does it.
