I have some of my VA disability examination appointments on the same day as the 100% PT test. Do I have to take it?

if you are still in the military and do not currently possess a PT profile then yes .
While going through a MEB you are still on duty. Remember, a MEB is where they evaluate your condition(s) for meeting retention standards. It is just as likely as not that they could find that all conditions meet retention standards and decline to refer you to a PEB. Assuming that the PT test is given in accordance with any profiles you have and that it doesn't cause you to miss your appointments, there shouldn't be a problem.

PV2 (Anonymous) - The first thing you need to do is tell someone you have an appointment. I don't know what kind of appointment you have but missing an appointment in the Army these days is almost a Court Martial offense. Your chain of command should be able to either reschedule your appointment or let you take the make up APFT.

PV2 Trenton Shelley - No one is going to tell you to skip a PT test and go to an appointment. It's definitely something that needs to be worked out with your chain of command and documented either way.
