Multiple sleep tests, all negative, multiple medications, all negative, last 20 years using Lunesta, first time had a full 7 hours of sleep Then the VA started using a generic Lunesta, sleep dropped to short 1 to 2 hours of sleep, the VA can't treat this as a special condition and allow me to get the original Lunesta.

The first thing I do at the end of a busy day is light my lilac candle. I have discovered the impact of certain aromas on stress and anxiety. I also cannot sleep in silence. I keep my TV on all night. I preset channels so I don’t wake up to something which freaks me out. It takes an entire routine ands melatonin cocktail for me to fall asleep. My sleep patterns are so ‘unique ‘, they couldn’t help me in a sleep study. I’m lucky because I’m retired, so I have the luxury of afternoon naps and sleeping during the day. I have always been a ‘night owl’, so I do the things in the evening which most people do during the day. I think everyone is unique and we each have our own routines!
