All you photogenic military personnel out there in RP Land let’s have a little photo session just to lighten it up today! Share the first photograph or the earliest photograph of yourself when you entered the military and tell us the date of the photo.
I'll start with Private Burroughs in 1975 at Fort Leonard Wood, MO & end with Colonel Mikel in 2005!

SPC Osborne: I was told about the "Fulda Gap" and the armor troops patrolling that
Russian invasion area into West Germany had the people in Moscow decided to move
west. You guys would have been one of the first to engage the Soviet military in combat. Tough duty assignment!! Thanks for your service. Another "Cold War" veteran.

Basic photo, Company photo, foxhole photo and in the 4th photo top 2nd from the right bottom 1st on the right with SJ on my left arm, which back in them days ment super jock. I was with the B-5-3 Fort Leonard Wood, MO Sept - Nov 1979

Not the very first, but pretty darn close. This was within a month of entering the academy and after dropping to 147 pounds at 6'3".
