All you photogenic military personnel out there in RP Land let’s have a little photo session just to lighten it up today! Share the first photograph or the earliest photograph of yourself when you entered the military and tell us the date of the photo.
I'll start with Private Burroughs in 1975 at Fort Leonard Wood, MO & end with Colonel Mikel in 2005!

Just promoted to PFC E-3.
November 1968: BCT, D-8-2 (Bulldogs), Harmony Church, Fort Benning, Georgia.
The D.I. really enjoyed taking us on our PT runs every day. I was just happy to be there!!!

I'm not photogenic but here is the first photo of me in my Army uniform during basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia in November of 1968. D-8-2 (Bulldogs), Harmony Church. My Father who
was a World War II Army veteran that served in the South Pacific is with me in the photo.
