ALL New Connections - Back by Popular Demand! I'm still receiving some great photos from all you RP Members. THANKS!
Keep them coming!
All you photogenic military personnel out there in RP Land let’s have a little photo session just to lighten it up today! Share the first photograph or the earliest photograph of yourself when you entered the military and tell us the date of the photo.
I'll start with Private Burroughs in 1975 at Fort Leonard Wood, MO & end with Colonel Mikel in 2005!

Had to do some digging to find these... My Father enlisting me at the Baltimore MEPS, in April ‘90 on the 6-month delayed Entry Program. Then my Great-Grandfather in the ‘40s, Grandfather in the ‘60s nearing the end of his 27-yr career, Father in ‘68, myself in ‘90 and my only sibling Brother in ‘03, all our first or only remaining photos of their first... My Great-Grandfather was first generation American and we’ve kept our family tradition of serving this great nation since!

COL Mikel J. Burroughs Brother Mikel, it was truly my pleasure! Wasn’t always easy as you know, but it’s the passion for the job, the sacrifice for our country that means the most! Am sure you know the feeling as your time was much longer, during stressful times for both you and the family! Just glad RP is a site where we can communicate such.

SGT Jim Ramge,
What fun this was to read and look at. My family has much the same "Service Tree". I love these peeks back at history. I don't have pictures of my Dad in WW II, or my Brother in Law in Korea, but after that, all of us have at least one of ourselves serving. What a treasure to pass on to your kids. Smiles, SGT Hughes
